Recording sound directly to camera?

Noob here.

Is there a way to record sound directly to an Ursa Mini Pro? Would BM Video Assist 4K do it?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, the camera has very good Mic preamps, and can take a pro line level (+4Db) or 600-Ohm balanced Mic input via XLR connections. You can also record audio,to the VA4K, same type of inputs via Mini XLR connections, but the VA will have a slight (2/3 frames) Video delay compared to the audio input, and will require re-sync in post. The camera’s audio input will be in sync with the video recorded internally on the camera’s CFast/SDI cards.
