Hyperdeck playlist

PostWed Nov 08, 2017 9:50 pm

Hello,

I was posting this in the wrong forum, so I try again:
is it possible to have a playlist - basically a directory with movie files - of clips that are played in order?

I have created a bunch of files with Resolve but I can only play them back one at a time. To play another clip I need to remove it from the directory and copy anther on it. I do the following:

1) I copy 2x .mov files onto the SSD
2) Insert the SSD into the hyper deck
3) hyper deck plays only one file
4) if I delete the file it played before then it plays the other

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Markus

Are both your files the same framerate and file type?

I don't have a problem having more than 1 file on an ssd and going from file to file.
I do know that if you have a 23.98 file on the ssd, and a 59.94 file on the ssd, the hyperdeck will only recognize the "first" file. That sounds like what is happening here.

Thanks for the hint: I am using clips with different fps and/or resolution.

Files must be the same format and same encoding or you will have troubles.

RTX 3090
DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G
Resolve Studio 17.4.1
