sub view customization

PostTue Nov 14, 2017 10:00 pm

is there a way to have a view window only show a sub view? it seems that you can scale a sub view to be larger [which is good] but it is still an overlay over your image.
i am wondering if it can be set up so you have view windows that are only sub view that will display the data for a viewed image in a different window, of it the sub views will only display data if their window has an image in it?
right now, if you are not viewing an image the window with a sub view shows a blank sub view result- just looking for a larger sub view without it being an overlay on top of your image :)

As far as I can tell this only works with histograms etc. So subviews that effectively create an image.

yeah seems so.
btw, it appears the sub view really affects performance?
this seems to be new, previous versions of fusion did not have a slowdown or lag present when a sub view was active.
