No, the SSD module is physically mounted between the battery and the battery plate in the camera, and passes the power through from the battery to the camera while getting its power from the battery en route. The 4-pin XLR is connected to the camera’s DC to DC power board at a different point than the battery plate connection, to isolate them from each other. So the 4-pin XLR power input is not going to power up the SSD module, as there is no connection between the camera power board and the SSD, except for passing the battery connection along.
Think one-lane, one-way road — battery to SSD module and to the camera only. So the ca,era power switch is not going to turn off power to the SSD and the 4-pin XLR is not going to power the SSD module as their is no connection from the camera to the SSD.
