P2 Import Issues

PostFri Nov 24, 2017 4:17 am

Hey,

I have two P2 cards on a local disk. Both work correctly in Premiere, and can be imported with auto-syncing of vision and audio with correct track allocations.

When I try and import them into DaVinci Resolve 14.0.1 Win 10 and OSX I am able to import one card fine but the other requires manual syncing of vision. The two differences between the two cards is one is P2 DVC Pro (SD) and one is AVC-Intra 50 (HD) and the SD is 25 fps, while the HD is 29.97 fps. Is this the cause of the issue? I have been able to decode XAVC P2 Card structures in HD before, but never AVC-Intra 50

Currently my workaround is to import them into Premiere, and export them back to Resolve. This is not ideal and I would like to use Resolve as my ingest tool but seem unable to figure this one out. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Conor
