Decklink mini monitor 4k + Premiere Pro

PostTue Nov 28, 2017 5:25 pm

Hi all,
I have a problem with the Decklink mini mon. 4k and premiere. I have a 1080p monitor plugged to the Decklink. Actiually it is Decklink-HDLink-Dreamcolor monitor. My problem is when have a 2160p sequence in premiere the Decklink always shows 2160p even if I tell it to output 1080p. The monitor cannot understand 2160p. How can I set the Decklink to 1080p or is a way to tell premiere to output 1080 even with a 4k timeline?

please check pics attached.

Best

Ben

Take a look under the "Conversions" tab. If your card supports down conversion, the modes will be there.

I don't think the Mini Monitor 4K supports conversion from UHD to HD, and I don't think you can tell Premiere to do monitoring in a different format.

Yeah the only options in the conversation TAB are "HD to SD" and "720 to 1080". Now I use the monitor via DVI for DaVinci and HDMI for Premiere directly connected to the graphics card.
