QT artefacts

I am getting partial black outline as artefact when exporting Quicktime. Am I doing something wrong, if not is there some workaround ?

Which codec? QT is only a wrapper.

H.264, as it is 'recommended' for YouTube, but latter I did some testing and found that compression is the culprit for that outlining.

Any experience/recommendation, what would be a better codec, for web, YouTube ?

try using .mp4.

I've always had better compressed h.264 with .mp4 than I have with .mov. I'm not sure how well Fusions MP4 in integrated, as I've never rendered it to. Red in general with h.264 is not the best color to compress. I believe youtube accepts ProRes files, you could try that as well.

I have to concur, as I tried other colours as backup solution and are ok, but I will look in to other codecs.
That sample, was H.264 mp4.
