quicktime quality loss in fusion 9

PostWed Jan 10, 2018 11:53 am

Hi
I found there is significant quality loss when bringing in ultraHD ProRes quicktime movie file to Fusion. No matter render out back to ProRes 422 or image sequences.
I don't know if it's to do with the preference setting - the default QuickTime set quality to 75% and can't be changed to 100%, when forcefully change it to 100%, Fusion won't render out quicktime properly. I am using free version of Fusion 9 on Mac OS, perhaps it's the reason? I thought free version Fusion supports upto ultraHD res?
I am wondering if any other people have the same problem.
I am quite new to Fusion, mostly using Nuke.
Thanks a lot for the help!

Qian
