URSA Mini SSD Recorder - Stripped T10 Torx screw

PostFri Jan 12, 2018 3:33 pm

Just got the SSD recorder for my URSA Mini Pro and love it! Works flawlessly, and have updated all firmware on camera, recorder and viewfinder. However I accidentally stripped one of the T10 torx screws in mounting the recorder to the mounting bracket. I'd really like to find a source to quickly order a few replacement T10 torx screws - anyone know best place to order (url)?

Thank you so much!

An awful lot of online suppliers from Amazon to Alibaba, but wouldn’t your local hardware store also carry Torx screws and drivers?

Unfortunately no luck locally at least at Home Depot (shortest is .5, too long for the recorder).

If anyone has a link online please share and thank you!

I was hoping to get a lead from someone to help find a quick solution. Nothing local as I could not find the right length (too long). I was able to locate what I hope will work - MulWark 100 Pieces M3 6mm 8mm 10mm 12mm Engineered Cylindrical Head Hex Socket Cap Computer Screw Assortment Allen Bolt Fastener Made Of 12.9 Class Heat Treated Alloy Steel With Black Oxide Finishing - from Amazon, along with a pair of Long Nose Specialty Screw Extraction Pliers.

Thanks!
