What happened to this lens contact pin on my Ursa Mini 4k?

PostTue Jan 23, 2018 9:57 pm

I just purchased my first Blackmagic Design camera - the Ursa Mini 4k. When inspecting the lens mount I noticed that one of the contact pins appears to be melted or something.

As far as I can tell there aren't any issues; I tested it with the Sigma 18-35 and everything seems normal.

Should I still be concerned? Was this a manufacturing defect?

Thanks, I didn't know that. Do regular links work?

Yes, i can see your photo now. The pin looks like it was bent over. If this is a new camera, send it back!
