You'll need to spend considerably more.

Even with the DJI Ronin M you'd need to strip the UM to a small lens and joint power, you'd need the full Ronin to safely carry it. See here for limitations:

Maybe better rent a lighter camera for only those scenes?
No, an iGPU is not enough, and you can't use HEVC 10 bit 4:2:2 in the free version.

I have the Ronin-M and I'm in the process of putting my Mini 4.6K on it. You can use the cinemilled dove plate to balance the camera with bigger lenses. I think that you'll be better off using a steadicam vest & arm kit with such a heavy camera.

Check the EasyRig: http://easyrig.se

The EasyRig is not a gimbal.

No, it's not. But it helps hanging a heavy gimbal plus camera on your body instead of your hands.

Does anyone have experience with the Ronin 2 and the Ursa Mini... and powering the camera through the Ronin?

CAME-TV Prodigy seams to be the right one for the job. Enough power and space for the ursa mini with battery and lens of your choice. I have had my eyes on it for a while among checking others and I think it would be my choice.

I use the Letus Helix standard (not the Junior). It's a great match for the URSA mini.

You will have to strip it down, and use a light/short lens, however it balances well on the long plate. I've cables to power everything from the gimbal, including a redrockmicro focus remote and VA5" monitor.

Once you've calibrated the Helix, it's very easy to balance.

We upgraded to the R2 last fall with our UM4K.
Balancing is done in under 10 minutes versus over 30 with the original full size ronin.
I feel as though I had better fluidity of movement on the original setup which I used regularly for 3 years with a few different cameras.
Still getting used to R2 so it's just getting adjusted to its behavior.
The new contraption is a lot heavier than the original.
We have yet to power the camera off the gimbal, and his will be our task prior to our next shoot.
Even with our readyrig, it's pretty heavy for longer stints, so getting the weight down by loosing the V mount and anything else non essential is key.

Simon.

I fly my 4.6K on the full size Ronin while also using the cinemilled extension arms and cinemilled dovetail, and I feel like even that is really pushing what should be flown on a gimbal.

I for the life of me don't see how people are getting functional rigs on Ronin M and Ronin MX's and other smaller gimbals.

I agree. We had to ditch the battery and use a D Tap to 4 pin XLR to power our Ursa's with the original full size ronin. Even with the extension arms, we didn't have enough play when using heavier lenses.

The problem I've had with trying to power off the 4 pin, is the rig becomes way to front heavy to balance. I need the VMount on the back of the camera, just to keep the weight evenly distributed.

Anyone use the title gravity? That's what I'm currently looking at getting. Seems large enough to hold the payload of the camera without restricting lens choices

Check out the CAME TV Prodigy with the URSA mini. I am really thinking about it my self.
You will not have any problems with batteries or lenses.
