So, does that mean we are getting new gammas and DNxHD on our other URSA Mini cameras, too?

Yes and no, the broadcast side gets a new camera and all the bits to kit it out for live production work.
Ursa Mini Broadcast. Seems it uses the same or similar size sensor to the Micro Studio 4K camers, and the B4 Mount gives coverage from 2/3rds B/4 lenses.
Cheers.

I hope we get DNx Codecs for the URSA Mini 4.6K & URSA Mini 4K! That would be awesome.

I'd also like the Extended Video LUT as I'm curious about that one. I think it is essentially REC2020, which would be useful to have.

Regarding Rec 2020 we have both...

• Extended Video mode for record dynamic range.
• Extended Video 3D LUT for monitoring with Extended Video when you are recording Film.
• Rec 2020 Hybrid Log Gamma 3D LUT for HDR monitoring when recording Film.
• Rec 2020 PQ 3D LUT for HDR monitoring when recording Film.

It's all in the release notes.

It's not Rec.2020, it's still intended for Rec.709 display. The "extended" part is the gamma curve in the highlights is less aggressive than our existing video mode/LUT to pull more dynamic range back in, and the gamut is also a bit wider than 709 so less saturated but still a pleasing image on a 709 display with a bit of room to move in the grade if needed.

As Tim noted, specific Rec.2020 transforms have been added as monitoring LUTs to the Broadcast camera/Resolve, or you can use the existing transforms in Resolve via RCM or the CST plugin.

Thank you for the responses Tim & Hook!

After the clarification I still hope that the new LUTs become available for the older URSA Mini models:

• Extended Video 3D LUT for monitoring with Extended Video when you are recording Film.
• Rec 2020 Hybrid Log Gamma 3D LUT for HDR monitoring when recording Film.
• Rec 2020 PQ 3D LUT for HDR monitoring when recording Film.

Those LUTs can be invaluable. So if The default LUTs are those 3 added on top of the 1 BMD to Video we already have. So 4 Defaults & 6 Custom LUTs would be what we get. Please, if that can happen it would be amazing. Thank you!
