Auto Exposure problem with Micro Studio Camera 4K

PostTue Feb 06, 2018 4:08 pm

From time to time, the auto exposure stops working with this camera. It happens after playing with the options and turning the camera off / on. There is no specific pattern, it seems to happen rather randomly. Does anybody have the same problem?
I have updated the firmware to the latest version and it keeps happening.

What lenses are you using? I have not had any issue with mine. Also check to make sure the lens release button is all the way up. If it sticks part way, lens communication and auto exposure is lost.

It doesn't seem to be a lens problem. When it happened to me, I turned on the camera, AUto Exp mode was set to Shutter + Iris, then I changed it to Shutter and it worked, and then I got back to Shutter + Iris and it worked perfectly.
So as I said, it seems quite random.

I would suspect the lens contacts, check both the lens and camera for damage and dirt.
