what size battery needed? (micro studio 4k)

PostMon Feb 26, 2018 2:27 pm

We are running a Micro Studio 4k on a Ronin M attached to a cable cam system. Using the Ronin M's p-tap we only get about 1 hour of run time.

We have decided to run the Micro Studio from the D-Tap on the V-mount from the cable cam. What capacity will run the camera for about 6 hours? These little things suck up juice quick!

They do indeed. I run a 98wh compact battery and get 4+ hours with the Micro and a PixE5 monitor/recorder in 4K which is is about the same if not a little hungrier than the Micro. I'd estimate the 7-8 hours for the Micro on it's own.

Thanks for the real world experience. Give me a good go by to figure this out.

Good to hear a 98wh battery is very capable.
