Using Mini Converter SDI to Audio with Videohub

PostThu Mar 01, 2018 11:19 pm

Suppose I input a video and audio SDI signal (A) into a Videohub, then have one of the outputs leading to an SDI to Audio which is then plugged into a speaker system of some sort (X). If I tell the videohub to route input A to destination X, is there any reason that the fact that the final destination for the video is a mini converter SDI to Audio, as far as getting just the audio to the speakers goes?

No.. The hub does not know what is behind it.. So even if nothing is connected it will still route it to output X when you say so..

What you put behind output X is completely up to you. ;)
