Having issues with Camera

I have a HXR-MC2500 Sony Full HD 1920x1080 AVCHD professional camera. It has been hit or miss with getting it to show video with the intensity shuttle 3.0. I am using OBS software to stream live to facebook but it works sometimes and then I can't get it to even talk to the Laptop at all. Please help I'm drowning over here. Any suggestions?

To narrow down the problem, I would test the Intensity Shuttle using the Blackmagic Media Express application. Once you confirm that the video signal is passing, then move on to OBS. Also keep in mind that the Intensity Shuttle does not support full HD (1080p/60), so make sure that the camera is not set to output that signal.
