Hyperdeck mini drop frame - resume?

PostTue Mar 13, 2018 11:13 pm

Last time I checked, the main issue with the Hyperdeck Mini (and all Hyperdeck products as far as I know), was that it would stop recording it if dropped a frame. This issue has always turned me off from BMD recorders, but I'm hoping it's since been resolved.

Thanks!

Resolved?? It is not a bug, it's a feature! ;) Intentionally coded..

But if i remember correctly on drop frame / writing speed issues the Hyperdeck Rec button will starting flash repadily indicating a issue. But will continue to record.

Only when losing the SDI signal it will stop recording. Which can be a drawback if you have a loose cable, or make a switch fault on your router..

Oh wow, if so, then this is significantly less of an issue than expected!

Hoping someone can confirm, but either way, thanks for your input.
