Bug/Feature Request: Position path does not ease speed

PostMon Mar 19, 2018 2:25 am

When using the position path in the timeline viewer, after you turn on the "smooth" setting on your position marks the video moves at a constant speed along the motion path and does not ease in or out even when the corresponding handles lengths are adjusted. Perhaps this is a feature request to add a curve value for speed? (As the current handles seem to adjust only the position values.)

Resolve 14.3
Windows 10
Also tested on:
Resolve 14.3
OSX 10.11.6
PC: Resolve 18.0.1, WINDOWS 10, GTX 3090
Desktop Video 12.0
(All bug reports etc. are PC unless specified.)
Mac: Mac Studio M1 Ultra, Resolve 18.0.1, 12.4

I would also find it useful to have Ease In/Out for both Position and Zoom keyframes.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

There are ease setting for Zoom in the track disclosure area already.

As for position ease in the edit page, it has been officially requested, cross your fingers it makes it into 15 :D

No, man. A checkbox in the Inspector. One for Ease In, one for Ease Out. For both Position and Zoom.

KISS applies here.
