OpenType, TrueType, or Postscript-fonts for text-animation

Hello forum

As I understand for text-animations Fusion uses the fonts installed on the operating system.

For the case I need new fonts, should I select/buy OpenType, TrueType, or Postscript-fonts?

It's likely that I will install Fusion on a Linux box.

Not sure about Postscript because I don't have any but I can use both OTF and TTF fonts here on fedora 27.
Just a note: By default Fusion does not look for locally installed paths in ~/.local/share/fonts.

But you can easily add it in the preferences, or even better add fonts to you resources next to the project.
