No 360 3D camera in fusion. You can use multiple camera's for a cubic or spherical map.

You have to warp the perspective image to the projection you want. This can be done a number of ways, the simplest is to use CT and use the warping function you desire.

Since Andrews plugins are no longer available how can we get a 180 full dome out of fusions 3D camera? There must be a way to do this with fusions built in tools???

Chad can you please elaborate on this? I am really trying to convert Fusion's Spherical VR Camera to a 180 dome projection.

All I need is this effect "Equirectangular2Domemaster180" http://www.andrewhazelden.com/projects/ ... ar2Fisheye

Unfortunately his tools are no longer available...

Would be amazing if someone could help me set this up... Thanks much!

Really in a pickle guys. Can anyone help me convert Fusion's current 360 spherical camera equirectangular output to a 1x1 fisheye format using Fusions native tools?

Custom Tool?

There were some macros for this but they are no longer available...

Thanks guys/gals!

I can find quite a few papers and code samples for going the other direction, but so far the only one I've uncovered for going from equirectangular to fisheye is here:

I'm trying to grok the math, but I haven't got it yet. If I do manage to comprehend it at some point, I'll post a walkthrough of creating a Custom Tool that reproduces the algorithm for Fusion.

Wow Bryan! That would be amazing! I wish I had any coding skills... Need to learn someday...

I also was in touch with Pierre at RE:Vision Effects about RE: Lens and while it can convert Fisheye to equirectangular it can't go the other direction... But, he said they are adding that capability soon...

Man, I wish Blackmagic just had added this to the Spherical camera...
