BUG - Resolve wont open going fom dual to single monitor

PostThu Jun 07, 2018 7:29 pm

I've found a bug in Resolve 15 common to at least 2 windows PC's I've tested.

Afte ending a session using 2 monitors, the next day when I tied to open resolve with only my laptop screen the program won't open.
The database appears and lets me choose the project, but it opens minimized and doesn't show up on my screen.

In order to fix this issue, I had to connect to an external monitor and set Resolve to single display mode manually before being able to disconnect and using it without a second monitor.

note: In both cases, the external monitor was set as the primary monitor while using as it was a color grading monitor I was using along with both laptops.

Reset UI layout doesn't help?
No, an iGPU is not enough, and you can't use HEVC 10 bit 4:2:2 in the free version.

I am having the same issue in that I cannot see my project if I just have my laptop without my second monitor. How can I view the project with only my laptop? Thanks
