Prores Clips in FCP X say Rec 709

PostSun Jun 10, 2018 9:20 am

Hello just wondering if its normal for clips from an Ursa Mini Pro to be identified by FCP X inspector as Rec 709 even when added to Libraries with Wide Gamut.

Is this just a quirk of the software or file format but the info is inside anyway? Or did I miss something on the camera itself to change this?

ps: I always record in film dynamic range

This is normal. It's up to user to interpret it manually to its real nature. Flagging MOV files is limited to only few industry standards, which hare rather delivery ones, not camera formats. No need to worry about it.
