Audio levels

Hi to everyone!
I was wondering about audio levels during the shooting. I mean, while I'm shooting with the Cinema Camera, I can't see anywhere any audio level on the display, therefore not knowing if I'm recording too loud or even if there's any audio at all!!!
It seems pretty dumb to me... Did I miss any setting? Any firmware update?!
