BMPCC4k and USB 3.0?

Will the BMPCC4k record to an external SSD with USB 3.0 connection or only USB 3.1?

USB 3 is too slow.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.

Yeah that's what I thought too. Then I saw these Leica SSDs with type C connectors but nevertheless USB 3.0 (and not 3.1). So I was thinking what about recording Prores HD on external SSDs with USB-C 3.0.

That link doesn't point to a SSD, but a harddisk. USB 3.0 is plenty fast for single harddisk…

If you are wondering if the drive you've posted will mount, it *should*. But it looks like it's not SSD, but a regular hard drive so you might be dropping frames when capturing.
