Interlaced is not supported (yet) And nobody knows if it will ever be implemented and when..
But the best way is to collect all those people that are running a interlaced setup and NEED to record interlaced.. The more voices, more change it will be pushed up the list...
So explain why do you guys need H264 Interlaced more over a Codec like Proress or DNxHD with there bulky file formats?? I'm curious what people want to use it for. As it is lower quality then the heavy codecs..
Myself i think it would be very handy to have a H264 file that can be played directly on a SmartTV and send easily by WeTransfer without going over the 2GB limit.
To have some file that i can hand out almost directly to the customer after copying it to a small USB stick..
Very handy for longer videos like church ceromonies or sementaries to hand out to the customer. But also for long haul recordings like Visual Radio productions that are streamed to internet but you want some backup recording of the event. Which does not need to be high editing quality.
