Zoom by Pixel Resolution?

PostWed Jun 13, 2018 7:38 pm

I have a 1080p timeline and I want to zoom a part to 1280x720.
How can I see the pixel resolution while zooming so that i can make sure I'm zooming to 720?
I can only see the numbers in the zoom boxes under Transform but that only shows how much you're zooming by, for example - x1.5 or x2.
Can this be done?
I'm running DR14.
Thanks!

Mathematics. 1080/720=1.5

Type in 1.5 to be sure of exact zoom amount.

Sorry for the delayed response. I had email notifications turned off by default.

*Facepalm* Of course! I didn't think of that.
Thanks a lot!

Going on Gary's calculations, wouldn't UHD to HD be 2160/1080=2?

Not when word there says "zoom" :)
If you want UHD fit HD frame then zoom is 0.5 :)

It's desired resolution/source, not other way around (1920/3840). It's crazy plain math and common sense.
