Watching TV!

PostMon Aug 13, 2018 6:15 am

So I have proudly edited a great holiday vid. It is shot in 4K, lasts 4 minutes and is a 52GB (52GB) file when rendered in MP4 H264. People are asking me for a DVD copy, so how would I author a DVD from that size and get it onto a disc without reducing the 4K quality please? Which authoring software would be recommended? Thank you.

DVD-video is in SD. You can't put 4K on that. You could burn a file on DVD but you would need to re-encode with a lower bitrate to make it fit.

Thanks. What should I render in (bitrate etc) for DVD please?

What is the best way of watching 4K DR creations on a 4K TV? Thanks.

Hi.

I am using a NAS (Network attached storage).
But else will I suggest a 64 GB USB 3.0 memory stick.

Regards Carsten.

Could also burn a blu ray disc if you have a blu ray burner
