Atem prod studio 4K multiviewer issue

I just bought a new LG monitor to use as my multiviewer. I found a oddity. When I plugin my graphics laptop, I lose the multiviewer output. Using a thunderbolt to hdmi cable going into the shared input 1. I’ve never seen this issue on another tv. Some kind of weird HDCP? I’m baffled

How are you connecting the graphics laptop? via HDMI directly as an input?
