Intensity pro 4K - wont capture 4k

PostThu Aug 31, 2017 7:23 pm

hello guys,
I got a intensity pro 4k 2 months back and it will not capter anything above 1920x1080 60hz.... i have tried everything when in 4k capture mode it will only show half the screen the other half is static. the output only shows solid blue.. i have switched slots i have switch computers i even was on the phone with support for some time and they determined my card was faulty so the shipped me another card and i have the same exact outcome. i am very savvy on computers i am a full time streamer on twitch so i have delt with capture cards alot. I need this card to capture the 4k res so i can play my games in 4k and not 1080. i will post my pc specs below and i can get screenshots of what is going on and video capture. the card recognizes the 4k res but will not display it in any software correctly i can leave the card on auto and it detects every change i make to the resolutions my pc specs are as follows. both are windows 10 enterprise 64 bit OS's

The IP4K only supports up to 2160p30 at YUV 4:2:2, which the computer will not figure out on its own. Open the Nvidia control panel, and on the connection to the IP4K, click the "Use NVIDIA color settings" bubble and select YCbCr422 output color format. Change the refresh rate to 29Hz and apply, and it should work.

Hello,

I have exactly the same issue. I have tried what you said, but when I open the Nvidia control panel, I'm stuck on RGB color format in 4k.

I use an Nvidia 1080Ti card for sending video signal to Intensity pro 4K

- I tried different high speed 2180p cables : HDMI/HDMI or DP/HDMI
- I can change color format to Ycrbr only on another screen connected to the same 1080Ti card

Do you have any ideas of what is it happening here ?

Thank you,
Remi
