I have tried the device in all the ports and it is recognised in “about this Mac” but not recognised by any of the BMD software. I did get a notification in ‘preferences/privacy’ to allow the software, which I ticked, but still nothing. I’ve tried rebooting, reinstalling software, uninstalling and reinstalling, etc, etc, etc!
It seems that it is a common problem with these products, but usually overcome. I’m concerned that my device may be faulty so I’m checking all the options before I return it.
