HDMI>SDI Micro Converter 480i?

PostFri Nov 02, 2018 3:02 pm

Hi All,

Does anyone know if the HDMI > SDI micro-converter can output a 480i signal?

I'm trying to get HDMI out of a laptop and into an old Ikegami CRT monitor which has been fitted with a digital module (D-1 format).

I'm not familiar with D-1 but I was under the impression it wouldn't accept anything beyond 480i, and wanted to ask the question before I got the converter.

Thanks in advance,

Sam

Supported Resolutions as mentioned on the website..
But i think you would rather have a problem with getting your HDMI Output send out this resolution and framerate in interlaced format. As most videocards will not be able to go below 720P resolutions.
You might need to add a downscaler converter to do this propperly.. Like the BMD UDC HD (Go hdmi in, SD-SDI out)

In which you might want to think twice if you even want to use an old CRT monitor.. Or just spend the money on a good flatscreen that will do HD.
