Missing Reel names from audio files

Hi all I am assistant editing on a feature film using Resolve to transcode MXFs for avid, and have noticed that all the audio I've been given has no reel name, meaning that there will be issues linking in Avid. Any idea what is going on? Is there a way to manually change reel name? So lost!

Under "Clip Attributes" -> "Name" there are several options to generate reel names from metadata and/or file the path.

I've popped into that and all the options seem to be frozen?

Manual says:

You must first turn on “Assist using Reel Names” in the General Options of the Project Settings, and choose a Reel Assist setting, for the reel name attributes in the Clip Attributes window to be editable.

This seems to work for me in a brief test EDIT: on a video file.

EDIT: Sorry, I just looked in more detail and realised that while it works fine for a video file, it does not seem to work for an audio only file. So yeah I see what the complaint is now. The problem still exists in 17.2.2:

Need to try with wavs from other recorders, but would like to know why I cannot reel assist from filename in audio files, at least from sounddevices recorders.
