Hi Struggling to get my tricaster to control the VideoHub 20x20. I have followed Newtek instructions which is to alter the router_setup xml file that is loaded by Tricaster on booting.
Below is a copy of my xml file
<routers>
<config>
<blackmagicdesign_config discovery="false"/>
<blackmagicdesign ip="192.168.0.150" port="9990" name="Blackmagic Videohub"/>
</config>
<!-- The parameter allow_mapping_change_on_pgm specifies whether we lock routers from being
changed if they are already on program out, to avoid accidental selection of other sources.
-->
<routing allow_mapping_change_on_pgm="true">
<mapping newtek_input="1" router_output="1"/>
<mapping newtek_input="2" router_output="2"/>
<mapping newtek_input="3" router_output="3"/>
<mapping newtek_input="4" router_output="4"/>
</routing>
<inputs>
<!--
<input name="BlackMagic Videohub" router_input_index="13" switcher_long_name="MAIN CAMERA" switcher_short_name="Main" menu_name="studio 7" audio_long_name="main mic" />
-->
</inputs>
</routers>
It is an edited version of the template that comes with the Tricaster. I can confirm the IP address and I can even ping the VideoHub from the Tricaster when I exit into windows.
Can anyone offer any thoughts?
Many thanks
Frank
