Bmpcc 4K and video assist power draw query

PostTue Dec 04, 2018 10:06 pm

I’ve searched but can’t find the answer- does anyone have the power specs for the pocket 4K and video assist 5 inch in amp hours? Trying to work out how many batteries I need to take

Cheers

Hi,

For Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, you should factor in at least 22W with high frame rates, screen at 100% and recording to a media. The LP-E6 battery will not charge unless you provide more power (up to 30W).

For Video Assist 5", it should be around 9W.
