BMPCC ORIGINAL CENSOR DIRTY OR ?

PostTue Dec 04, 2018 3:19 pm

Hello,

I bought a bmpcc 4 years ago with that super summer sale. And used it about 5 times in that time. The reason being that i started a new job and hardly had time to film anything. 3 of those shoots I saw like looked like oil marks on the footage especially if you shoot into the sky or something white like a wall. But did not worry to much as i though it was maybe the lens cause i bought it second hand. Two months ago i got AL my gear together as i was planning to go into it full time as our company was retrenching. So this week i saw that it looks worse now yiu can aslo see it n red. Do you guys think it just maybe dirty censor or is it the sensor it self. And will black magic be able to help in repairing? As i was retrenched and will have no money really to buy gear for a while.I will be taking it tomorrow to get cleaned and then i will see.

Hopefully it’s something on the glass covering the sensor. Let us know when you have the glass cleaned.
