PostThu Jan 10, 2019 6:21 pm

Hi, I need to travel by flight with my BMPCC and its equipment. I am looking for an external battery/power bank (12v) max 100 Wh so I will haven't problems with the flight batteries limitations.
Any advice?

Thank you very much for your help.

The SmallRig DV Battery Plate Adapter for BMPCC might be a good option. It takes Sony F970 batteries.

I use the same as the user Brad Hurley recommended and I have 4-5 hours with it.

Thank you very much for all your advice and help (I was hopeless...). I ordered on Amazon a NP-F970 + charger and a SMALLRIG adaptor for BMPCC. If everything will work fine, I will buy many batteries for my journey.

Please remember to check the airline's restrictions on the number of batteries you can bring on the plane.

The Smallrig plate works fine, it's very cheap and plastic but it has been reliable for me. If you have a cage on your Pocket you can actually mount the battery plate on the top...it's a little awkward but at least it stays with the camera. You can also attach it to a tripod or monopod.
