Fusion render chugging along using 10% CPU

PostThu Jan 10, 2019 11:57 pm

Rendering a credits sequence (trying to) from Fusion and the computer is crawling along at 1fps and 10-20% CPU utilization and 1% utilization of two 1080 Ti's.

One question. Why??

How much ram are you allowing resolve and fusion to use?
AMD 7950X | AMD 7900XTX (23.20.24) | DDR5-6000 CL30-40-40-96 2x32 GB | Multiple PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME | ASUS x670e HERO | Win 11 Pro 23H2 | Resolve Studio 18.6.5 B7

Hi Peter. Rendering to EXRs from via a saver node in the Fusion page of scrolling credits. (Its the only way I could get my Fusion comp rendered. The deliver page would stop rendering about 5% into the clip and the Fusion caches were not working. So this is the only way I found to actually get the fusion clip output to a file).

What is the setup of your credit sequence? What tools do you use in the Fusion page?
Some additional info can be helpful.
