Rendering fails at frame 1 when I try to add a .wav file

PostTue Feb 05, 2019 1:20 am

How do I add audio into a render in Fusion?

.wav makes the render fail at frame 1, and with .mp3, it gives me an error like "no audio found" and/or "audio not supported."

What's wrong? Is the .wav thing a bug? Is it my computer specs? Is .mp3 in rendering a feature that hasn't been added? Would another format like .flac work?

Fusion only supports WAV files in 44khz and 16bit
Any other audio formats won't work

But is there any error message in the console if you are using the WAV?

Yes, I think it says "rendering failed at frame 1" or something in the console and there's a popup that comes up as well. My file is 44.1k but I think it's 32-bit. Should that work also?

Fusion REALLY should have more audio capability in order to compete with other software. Hope it gets fixed in fusion 10.
