Fusion 9 - huge interface lag - even on new projects

PostSat Feb 16, 2019 9:01 pm

Hi

I recently moved to Fusion within resolve because I couldn't fix the interface lag in Fusion 9.

Now I want to move back but the lag makes the software unusable.

Fusion within Resolve does not have this issue - but I prefer Fusion.

Can you elaborate a little on that. I don't have any perceptable lag on the UI in Fusion 9.

I found a solution - I needed to delete my profiles from the appdata folder

Before blowing away your profile, and thus your preferences, sometimes this problem can be solved by deleting the file requester history. There is a script available in Reactor that serves that purpose. It's called, appropriately, DeleteFileRequesterHistory.

If it doesn't work, deleting the profile may still be effective, but a scalpel may serve better than a hatchet.
