The SDexpress looks good for camera manufacturers, no more need for some of the other more expensive memory formats to be able to grab raw video streams from cameras. I wonder when this tech will hit the controller chips, a Pocket 4K that can record uncompressed RAW to an SD card would be really nice for a lot of people.

Not so certain that Micro cards would need this kind of speed, but with one goes the other.

If only you could easily hook up a MICRO SD in phone to an external drive and dump at 985MB/s.

The Pocket 4k probably only can manage one of the older standards.
