UMP Locking EF Mount

I know this maybe hard to do, but I wish BMD offered a locking EF mount for the UMP or new G2, like RED's and like the locking EF mount on the CINE metabones speed boosters. This would be a game changer, because the lens wouldn't wiggle around when pulling focus. I know it's probably hard to do because the EF mount sits so close to the body. This definitely should be a priority in the next generation camera. Whaddaya say Blackmagic?

Yeh this would be great. Both the UMP and the g2.

It's a request that has been made a number of times around here, and unfortunately has not happened. I ended up getting one of these after getting the BMD Nikon mount for the UMP (which has awful play)...

Relatively inexpensive and it does the trick pretty well... though not sure how well it can deal with larger cine lenses due to the length of the rubber strap. There are other similar options though that might be worth looking at.
