Update 6.2 Focus issue BMPCC4K

I can't activate the touch focus on screen assist that was in the last version, meaning I could select focus by touching the screen, now it's gone and I can only use the middle screen focus via the button on the back.
Is there something I am missing here - or has it gone altogether now?

Spent an hour looking and have gone slightly (or fully) mad now, please help.

Thanks so much for finding that needle in a haystack, was so frustrated making it try to work the same way as per the old update of a few weeks back - that I actually forgot about reading the manual....call me crazy!

I just found this thread after emailing Blackmagic over it. Why was this change made? It actually makes it harder to use, especially if you're on a gimbal and want to use the touchscreen to rack focus. It has me scratching my head.

I am a bit torn apart of that feature. On the one hand TAF is great to use for certain types of shots. On the other hand far too often I had accidentally invoked the AF while wanting to use the HUD.

Robert, to accomodate your point, one thing Blackmagic could do is just add a menu option to toggle between the 2 modes. IMO, this should have been done in the first place instead of switching it out completely.

Phong, I totally agree on that. It would be great to have a choice.
I've also several times accidentally pressed to AF button instead of the magnification button while doing interviews. They are looking far too similar and in low light I often had troubles finding the correct button.

There should be an official User "Wishlist" for the developer.

Their is, to to the BM Support site, and contact BMD directly with a comment in the features you want added.
