Working under ACES and using PNG images, they are pixelated, jagged or heavily aliased and unusable.
This looks to be affected by the timeline’s resolution. For example, If I have graphics created for 4096x2160 DCI and place them in a project with a 1920x1080 HD timeline resolution (center crop no resizing,) the graphics are heavily pixelated. However, if I change the project's timeline resolution to 4096x2160 DCI, the issue is resolved and the graphics appear as they should; I’ve not tried rendering yet. FWIW, under the ACES color management, with REC 709 output...I've set the images input as REC 709. Image scaling settings have also been set to Smoother and Anti-alias to On.
Under the same timeline resolution scenarios as above, and changing color management to DaVinci YRGB, the aliasing issue is still apparent, however, minimal by comparison.
Is there a resolution or work around to this issue?
