Davinci Resolve Studio licensing on different computers

PostThu Apr 25, 2019 3:01 am

To whom it may concern,

I have purchased DaVinci Resolve Studio on 12th April 2019 via Apple App Store. As I have two editing suites, I would like to enquire if I could change my current license/serial code (Studio can only be used on the computer that has purchased the application) to a serial code I can input once I download the DaVinci Resolve Studio on another computer :)

More details on the account used to purchase the application will be given once contacted. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Regards,
Kelly

Sorry, there is no option to transfer an App Store license to an activation key.

I have the activation key that comes with my BMCCP 4k, it'd be great if I can somehow link that with the app store so I always have updates and the new installation from the App Store.

Is it possible to link that by downloading the app through the App Store and using my key?

is there any workaround?

Thanks!!

Resolve 16 will alert the user when an update is available. Just use the Activation Key, IMO.

Hello,

I just got the full Version of Davinci with my BMPCC 4K and would like to install it on my Macbook Pro to test it. As I plan on getting a computer with multiple Monitors for editing I wonder if I will be able to transfer it or use the same Activation Code again. Or will I need to buy a new full version?

Thanks a lot!

You can deactivate the license on the laptop and activate on the PC with no trouble. I've moved mine many times.
