The "Becker" intro effect

PostSat Jun 15, 2019 10:52 pm

The old television series, "Becker", used an intro which appeared to be color reduced to perhaps 4-bit, with extreme posterization or banding. Can this be achieved using either Fusion 9 (stand-alone) or Resolve 15.3?

Thanks.

If you have Reactor installed, download the Glitch Tools. There's a Posterize macro in there that will do what you need. Or you could search around on the forum here. I believe I posted the macro on its own a few months ago.

In Resolve you can try the JPEG Damage effect with a low Quality setting.
