latency Intensity Pro (PCI) vs. Intensity Shuttle (USB2)

PostWed May 15, 2013 10:44 am

Hi all,

I want to capture live video with the lowest latency possible to stream over a network (Flash Media / Wowza)
Quality is less of a concern - having low latency, as near real-time-as-possible is key.

I like to buy a Intensity Shuttle (USB2) because it's portable. But I am afraid that the USB2 might add latency and that a Intensity Pro is faster b/c of the PCI connection.

Is this true? And if so, how much latency would USB add comapred to PCI, if any?

Many thanks,

Rob
