Experimental Plugin: Frequency Separation

PostSat Jun 15, 2019 10:51 pm

Well, I had to kick myself to get at least something out this week, so I transfered the
Frequency Separation of this tutorial:

into a fusion 9 plugin and experimented a bit with it.

For whatever reason I encountered a random crash in my limited testing, and I'm not sure whats the reason for this. So its again more on the experimental - just for fun- side of things.

Will try to get this multithreaded, not sure if I can get it since it relies on trwo blurred images, but I'll try...

Ok, added a new version, wich is now multithreaded. wich might gain some speed.

It also outputs the high and low frequency passes individually.
And last but not least it does feature a separate linear light blend node (also multithreaded) wich currently does feature the same blend mechanism than the FS plugin (RGB and HSV blend mode)

Next to come (on the experimental front) are individual sliders for the HSV values.
