Frustation

PostTue Jun 18, 2019 8:35 am

Hello,
I want to ask you guys if you had the same unfortunate experience.
My Ursa Mini Pro fade to black this last 10 of May. I send the camera to repair 14 of May.
Aside of the mysterious fade to black in the almost a finished shoot ( mercifully ) that let us only
with one camera and speechless, we are still 18 June waiting to know something about the camera.
Black Magic told us that is not posible to repair it, so they send us a new one.
I think that a month is too way much for a new body, I could understand 15 days, 20 perhaps...
but more than a month maybe is too much for a new body.
The problem is that I have to rent one, loose money and still no news about when we´ll have the new one
back....
I feel very disappointed, this makes me rethink about invest in the new URSA G2.
I was just trying to sell the UMP, but now, I can´t even try it because I don´t have camera at all.....

Hope you don´t deal with this stuff!

Re: Ursa Mini Pro Delay

Well, luckly my dealer land me a Ursa Mini 4k
while I wait for the Ursa Mini Pro.
It is so frustrating situation not knowing when I’ll
receive my UMP, but at least I don’t have to rent
anymore in between.....but seriously, a proper brand
shouldn’t let an owner and someone who makes a
living with its products without a camera for more than
One MONTH actually....and no notions about when
Will be fixed this situation.
Not to mention the feeling of insecurity that comes
with Knowing that a camera can fail any time....
A nightmare that hope to go away soonl

It should always be assumed that this is a possibility with ANY camera of ANY brand. Same with computers, cell phones, and other digital devices.

Yes I asume, a problem may occur anytime
But asume that you have to work and you are waiting
Your camera replacement or your mobil
Replacement or your car replacement or whatever
You make a living for more than one month
It is unacceptable from my point of view
