1M/E USB 3.0 compatible with Ivy Bridge laptop

I need to use the usb 3 of the 1M/E with a usb 3 port on an ivy bridge laptop, will that work? I am going to be streaming using Wirecast.

If it has a Proper Nvidia / ATI Card NOT a Hybrid (eg NVIDIA Optimus) It should work fully with the Vectorscope and capture. If its an optimus then Capture only have used quite a few diffferent Laptops but quite a few recent ones will not work with vectorscope until the drivers recognise Hybrid cards. USB 3 capture works if your disk is fast enough or use e-sata SSD It should work with wirecast if you want to stream haven't got an ATEM around at the moment to test as it's out on jobs
