I use the Novoflex EOS/NIK-NT to use my Nikon lenses on the BMCC EF. It's a bit on the expensive side but I've had some bad experiences with the Fotodiox adapters (both consumer and pro models).

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/7 ... r_for.html

The lenses I've used with it (all manual everything, of course):

Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8G
Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8G
Nikon 50mm f/1.8D
Nikon 85mm f/1.8D
Sigma 15mm f/2.8 EX DG Fisheye

I have yet to try my Nikon 70-200m f/2.8G but don't see any reason why there would be a problem…. I'm really curious about using it along with the 2x tc.

See:
http://herefortheweather.wordpress.com/ ... d-nikkors/

I use >40 year old Nikkor 24mm, 35mm, 55mm & 85mm SLR stills primes, all f2.8 or faster, using a Fotodiox "pro" Nikon F-to-EF lens mount adapter. (Although in future I plan to use RedRock F-to-EF adapters, which are supposed to be "tighter" than the Fotodiox.)

Love my Contax Zeiss on it. 28mm 2.0, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.4 just wished I had the 16mm!

Sure John! So far my experiences with the Novoflex adapter and Nikon (and Sigma) lenses have all been good, haven't had a single issue with any of the lenses on the BMCC. The adapter is really well made and works as expected and without issue.

I did like the dual access to the dial on the Pro Fotodiox adapter, but the metal piece that moves the aperture lever was too long and wound up scratching part of my 24-70. It wasn't scratching anything essential, but it made it more difficult to adjust the aperture (and really, I didn't like the idea of something scratching any part of my lens housing and potentially causing flakes of material falling into the sensor area).

Hello,

I just recieved my M24 adapter for some vintage Helios lenses

Helios-44-2 f2 58mm (Made in the USSR)

Works great, annoying 2.3 crop makes it a ~133mm but thats fine for my CU shots, and at f2 I can't complain.

Cine modded 35mm f/2 Carl Zeiss ZF.2
Cine modded 50mm f/1.4 Carl Zeiss ZF.2
My "go to" lenses. Will be adding the 25mm f/2 soon. Both currently with cheap Chinese eBay adaptors.

Tokina 11-16mm Nikon mount with Novoflex NIK-EF adaptor. My "go to" lens for wide shots.

Also tried:

Various Nikon AI/AIS prime lenses: 28/2.8, 35/1.4, 55/1.2, 135/2.8

Various Nikon AF-D prime lenses:
35/2, 50/1.4, 85/1.4, 105/2

Various Nikon AF-S (G type lenses):
14-24/2.8, 24-70/2.8, 70-200/2.8

All Nikon lenses used with the Novoflex adaptor.

With out IS/VR the longer lenses are difficult to get good results as even focusing introduces camera jitter.

The focus throw on the AF-S lenses is really short so can be difficult to track moving subjects.

Old Russian M42 lenses:
37/2.8, 58/2, 85/2

Lovely glass with its own character. Not right for all jobs but nice if you are looking for a specific look.

I also have a classic Nikon mount Angenieux 35-70mm f/2.5-3.3 which I plan to use on the BMPC4K
